David M. Bagley has more than 17 years of broad-based business and professional experience, including a decade of financial consulting, turnaround and crisis-management experience. He has assisted financially distressed and underperforming companies as a turnaround consultant, interim manager and financial advisor.

Mr. Bagley has extensive experience in such key areas as debtor financial management, Debtor-In-Possession financing, mergers & acquisitions, bankruptcy reporting, lender communications, cash management and the development of restructuring plans. As a financial consultant, he has served a variety of industries, including manufacturing, hospitality, transportation, distribution, wholesale and multi-store retail, catalog mail-order, finance, and computer technology and software. Companies he has consulted with have ranged in size from $25 million to more than $1.6 billion.

As the Chief Restructuring Officer for a $100 million environmental remediation construction firm, Mr. Bagley helped the company manage cash and liquidity, lender communications and negotiate two forbearance agreements.

On due diligence and monitoring engagements for a number of national banks, Mr. Bagley has provided viability and operational assessments on clients ranging from startup ventures to established old-line manufacturing companies.

As Financial Advisor to Boot Town, a multi-store retail chain specializing in western wear, Mr. Bagley managed cash, lender communications and bankruptcy reporting, and facilitated the preparation of the plan of reorganization and testified on behalf of the debtor on a variety of valuation issues.

As Restructuring Consultant to Goldman Industrial Group, a holding company for machine tool companies (Bridgeport Machines, Bryant Grinding, Fellows Corporation, Hill-Loma), Mr. Bagley was interim CFO, heading up the finance group as the company went through bankruptcy, divested seven subsidiary companies through §363 and managed the relationship between the legal team and the operating entities.

Mr. Bagley is a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP). He holds an MBA from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana.
