Richard Kazmier is Managing Director in the Atlanta office of Morris-Anderson & Associates’ Ltd. He has over twenty five years experience in restructuring, management consulting and as Chief Financial Officer in a variety of business environments. He also has significant international business, information technology and operating experience.

Recent assignments include business integration, financial and operational restructuring, workout, and liquidation assignments. They were completed in a variety of industries, including real estate investment, food processing, healthcare, steel fabrication and construction, manufacturing, distribution, software development and truck leasing. Rick has additional experience in the chemical processing, electronic component assembly, injection molding, printing, apparel, home services and communications industries.

He has conducted business assessments, developed and implemented restructuring strategies, led buy side due diligence and the assimilation of acquired companies and held key roles in divestiture transactions. He is experienced in secured and unsecured debt restructurings and attracting equity investment.

Prior to joining MAA, Mr. Kazmier served as CFO of three companies, including food processing and home service companies that were in crisis. He served six years with PricewaterhouseCooper’s Manufacturing and Distribution Consulting Group and three years with Bellcore, as Vice President of Financial Consulting, for Europe and Africa.

Mr. Kazmier has a Masters Degree in Accounting from DePaul University, an undergraduate degree from St. Mary’s University in Economics and Business Administration. He passed the CPA Exam in 1978 and is also a Certified Turnaround Professional. He attended the Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership and has received formal training in several computer systems design and implementation methodologies. He lectures internationally on advanced cost management and performance improvement topics.
