Michael J. Love II

Michael Love, is an Associate Director at MorrisAnderson. Michael brings an extensive background in the private equity, investment banking and corporate finance industries, utilizing that experience to provide restructuring and turnaround services through operational and financial analysis.

Prior to MorrisAnderson, Michael served on the Corporate Finance and M&A team at Essendant, a Fortune 500 leader in office products distribution($5.3B in Revenue). Michael also served on the Debt Investment Banking division of Raymond James($730B in AUM), and was an Associate with the Domestic and LATAM division at BriCapital Partners($880MM in AUM). He holds a B.S in Finance and International Business from DePaul University, as well as a J.D from University of Miami.


Michael assists clients by providing a broad range of the firm’s financial and operational advisory services, including performance improvement, turnarounds, workouts, litigation support and insolvency services and wind-downs for distressed and bankrupt companies. Michael consults directly with management and senior financial staff to provide accurate cash flow projections, budgets, and business valuations to evaluate, support, and help implement strategic decisions in crisis situations.


Michael’s recent experience has covered many business sectors, including financial services, hospitality, distribution and consumer product goods specifically from the private equity and investor lens.
